Professionally installed solar, UV, privacy, decorative and safety/security films for homes and buildings across Northern Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland & West Virginia’s Eastern Panhandle.
Window film bonds to the glass you already have. Engineered layers reflect and absorb solar heat, filter out ultraviolet light and cut glare, while letting daylight in. Security films add thickness that holds broken glass in place.
We help you pick the right film for each window — and tell you honestly when a shade, a film, or both is the better answer.
Rejects a large share of the sun’s heat and cuts glare on screens and TVs, so west- and south-facing rooms stay comfortable and HVAC works less.
Most quality films block up to 99% of ultraviolet rays — a leading cause of faded hardwood floors, rugs, artwork and upholstery.
Thick, clear film that holds glass together if it breaks — reduces injury from flying shards and slows smash-and-grab entry. Common in schools, offices and government buildings.
Frosted, gradient or one-way looks for bathrooms, sidelights, street-facing rooms, conference rooms and office partitions — light in, view out.
Etched-glass patterns, stripes, logos and wayfinding graphics for storefronts, lobbies and glass walls.
Insulating films that help keep heat inside in winter as well as blocking summer heat — useful on older single-pane and large glass areas.

Frosted bands on conference rooms and glass walls keep meetings private and let light through.

Patterned film on street-level glass adds privacy and a finished look to the building.

Clear or translucent film that holds broken glass in place in schools and public buildings.

We show film samples on your glass and check film-to-glass compatibility before quoting.

Window film is a thin layer applied to the inside (or sometimes outside) of existing glass. Depending on the type, it reduces heat and glare, blocks UV rays that fade furniture and floors, adds privacy, or holds broken glass together for safety and security.
Not necessarily. Many solar films are nearly clear or lightly tinted and still reject a meaningful amount of heat and almost all UV. We bring samples and show you options on your actual windows before you decide.
Some window manufacturers set conditions on applied films. We check your glass type and film-to-glass compatibility before recommending a product, and we can provide the film manufacturer’s documentation for your records.
Most homes are done in a few hours and most offices in a day or two. Film needs a short curing period — usually a few days to a few weeks depending on weather — before the glass is cleaned. Use a soft cloth and an ammonia-free cleaner after that.
Yes, and it’s one of the best setups for sunny rooms: film handles heat, UV and glare all day, while shades — including motorized shades — give you privacy and blackout when you want it.

Interior films that look clear or lightly tinted from outside usually don’t change curb appeal, but reflective or dark films can. If you’re in an HOA, check its exterior guidelines — we can give you product details to submit.
